Our take
If you already have the Stage 1 PowerBlock Elite EXP, this Stage 2 expansion kit is a no-brainer. It adds 20 lbs per dumbbell, taking you from 50 to 70 lbs, which opens up heavier presses and rows. Installation is straightforward, and the weight adds seamlessly. However, at $215, it's not cheap, and you'll need Stage 1 first. Eventually you may want Stage 3 for 90 lbs, so budget accordingly. For me, 70 lbs is enough for most exercises, and this kit made my set more versatile without buying entirely new dumbbells.
